Little things make a BIG difference.
As we age, we become more sensitive to our surroundings and we need more help. For those who need memory support, this is even more crucial.
Have you ever noticed that when you are tired and not feeling your best, little things will get on your nerves that you otherwise wouldn’t notice? Things like a noisy air conditioner, the unnatural feel of glaring lights, not having access to the outdoors, not being able to find what you need – the list goes on and on. At our best, these are annoyances, but when we don’t feel well they can ruin our day and put us in a bad mood.
Tribute has been specifically designed to address every one of these issues.
Our air conditioner/heater systems are whisper quiet, and our lighting is calming and set to circadian rhythms (natural light cycles that help with sleep).
The music played throughout the community is therapeutically programmed to support us in having fun-filled, engaging days.
We have covered atriums as well as outdoor courtyards throughout our community designed to provide the benefits that nature has to offer and engage residents in walking, putting, gardening and relaxing year round.
Our artwork and original paintings are individually selected to enhance your loved ones’ experience. They are provided by the Southwest Art Gallery in Dallas and are cycled regularly to enhance the cultural experience and create an engaging and comforting environment.
Memory care bathrooms are specially designed for ease of use, with contrasting colors on the sink and toilet to help with depth perception and special nighttime lighting to direct residents.
Closets and armoires are designed to not overwhelm, but to enable residents to continue to choose clothing options for themselves, to retain the dignity of dressing.
