Memory Care and Assisted Living Community

“Collect moments. Not things.”
– Paulo Coelho

Little things make a BIG difference.

As we age, we become more sensitive to our surroundings, and we become more aware of the little things around us. Have you ever noticed that when you are tired and not feeling your best, little things start to stand out, that you otherwise wouldn’t notice?

Things like a noisy air conditioner, the unnatural feel of glaring lights, not having access to the outdoors, not being able to find what you need – the list goes on and on.  For those needing memory support, this is even more of an agitation and interruption.

At Tribute, we have addressed these issues in our unique design plan. Our minimalistic philosophy encourages our residents to let go of things and focus on being the best they can be — physically, emotionally and socially.

Read more to find out what steps we have taken to support the lifestyle changes needed to free residents of everyday burdens.

What makes Tribute neighborhoods unique?

Recognizing the varying wants and needs of each resident, three different, beautiful neighborhoods were created – Prairie, River and Mountain.

All of our suites are private; however, we can provide shared accommodations upon request.

Take a stroll down this page to discover more about how our neighborhoods are different and then come and see for yourself what a difference thoughtful design makes.

Assisted Living

Our Prairie neighborhood is Assisted Living and just what the doctor ordered for those who have no cognitive impairment and are still very active and enjoying life but may need medical and/or physical support.

This neighborhood offers spacious one bedroom and studio suites with kitchenettes and large bathrooms. Our open, airy design with large windows offer abundant natural light.

A Locked Door is NOT Memory Care

Our founders recognized that placing all levels of memory care residents together is difficult and can be disruptive for all. So, we have specific neighborhoods and programs designed for residents at different levels of memory support. Memory care features private suites specially designed to provide cues to assist those with memory loss.

Our Mountain neighborhood is Enhanced Assisted Living. We understand residents with mild cognitive impairment have their own needs, unique from those with advanced cognitive impairment. This neighborhood is designed for those who are active and engaged, needing only mild memory support with reminders and assistance.

Our goal is to enable independence while providing for safety, security and assistance with daily tasks while keeping them active and engaged.

Our River neighborhood is for those who need mid to full memory support and advanced care. This neighborhood addresses the extended and more personal physical, emotional, sensory, and health care needs of residents.

Each memory care suite includes:

  • To preserve dignity and independence, an in-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a depth-perception colored sink and toilet.
  • A specialized night light to accentuate the toilet at night.
  • Custom made memory care armoires are designed to enable residents to continue to choose clothing options for themselves, to retain the dignity of dressing.
  • Individual, whisper quiet Lennox A/C and heating systems with controls in each suite, specifically chosen to avoid noise that causes sleep disturbances or irritability.  Each suite has a personal thermostat to allow the resident to select the temperature that is comfortable for them.

“Minimalism is not about having less but making room for what matters.”
