ConTRIBUTEr of the Month: Grace Kimindiri
This month, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Grace, one of our incredible Care Partners who brings warmth, dedication, and compassion to our community every single day.
Grace grew up in Ongata Rongai, a town just south of Nairobi in Kenya’s beautiful Kajiado County. After moving to the United States to be with her family, she continued her lifelong commitment to caregiving—something she’s been doing with heart and excellence for 17 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, including the last two years right here at Tribute Senior Living.
As the youngest of three children (and the only girl!), Grace also shares a close bond with her extended family—three bonus siblings who now live in Sydney, Australia. It’s no surprise, then, that her dream travel destination is Sydney so she can reconnect with her loved ones who have been there for the past 20 years.
Grace’s weekends are filled with joy and activity. Her ideal Saturday or Sunday? It’s all about family time—taking her kids to their sports and ballet classes, and catching up with friends. Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines at a soccer match or enjoying laughs with loved ones, Grace values connection and quality time.
Speaking of soccer—here’s a fun fact: Grace is really good at it! It’s one of those surprising talents that remind us just how multi-talented our team members are.
When it comes to food, Grace enjoys the flavors of home. Her favorite dishes include pilau and beef stew, ugali and matumbo, and of course, nyama choma—a Kenyan favorite!
What Grace loves most about her role at Tribute is how deeply fulfilling it is. “This job has given me personal growth and a true appreciation for life,” she shares. “Knowing that my contribution to our community members’ well-being is appreciated and makes a difference is incredibly rewarding.”
