Employee Spotlight: Marlene Harden Keith

We are so fortunate to have a wonderful and talented team that takes excellent care of our residents. This month, we highlight Marlene, one of our highly-skilled and experienced CNAs.

Marlene is one of our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) here at Tribute. She has worked as a CNA for over 30 and was born to care for others as she is a very caring and compassionate person. She says that taking care of others comes naturally to her and that she has a special place in her heart for babies and seniors. We are so lucky to have Marlene as part of the Tribute family!

Marlene was born in Kansas City, MO, where she was a member of the Marching 23rd Street Cobras in high school. The Marching Cobras are a nationally recognized drill team in Kansas City consisting of steppers and dance teams. Drill teams have deep roots in African American culture and contain unifying characteristics such as a deep sense of camaraderie that comes from hard work and a sense of joy from a job well done. We were not surprised to learn Marlene was involved in a drill team in her early years, as she embodies many of these characteristics here at Tribute! 

She is a doting mother to her four adult children and has been blessed with six beautiful grandchildren, who she loves spending time with.
