Employee Spotlight: Patrice (Pat) Kohn

Our staff here at Tribute are the backbone of our community, and without each of their unique skills and experiences, we wouldn’t be able to provide the superior service that we do for our residents. This month we are shining the spotlight on our Director of Concierges, Pat, who has shared her own words.

“I have worked at Tribute Senior Living for the past month as the Director of Concierges, and I am thoroughly enjoying my position here with the Tribute family. My responsibilities are varied and include being the “First Point of Contact” as guests and families come into the community, or someone calls for information.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Gerontology from BGSU in Bowling Green. Ohio. I grew up in Dublin, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus, Ohio). My family includes my husband, Dale, our daughter, Katie, our precious five-year-old granddaughter, Lauren, our cat, Ethel, and our Yorkie, Gracie. We all have lived in McKinney since 1998. Before moving to Texas, we lived in Illinois and Atlanta, GA., where I met Dale over 30 years ago.

I LOVE working with seniors and families. I’ve had the pleasure of working with seniors from independent living to those with memory loss. My past work experiences have included being a Life Enrichment Director and Memory Care Director. I must say that I genuinely enjoy serving seniors and bringing a smile to their faces. My hobbies include reading, walking, baking, cross-stitch, quilter (wannabe), and traveling.

I feel that Tribute Senior Living is a HUGE blessing to those we serve and will serve in the future. I can say that our differences set us far apart from many other communities in very noticeable ways. This is especially true regarding our commitment to Alzheimer’s and Dementia research. Our community is comprised of firm believers and proponents of safety, security, and compassion from our terrific staff for our residents.

It is a blessing for me to serve God and our families as your Director of Concierges. If I may assist you in any way, please let me know.”

Thank you for everything you do, Pat, to better enrich the lives of our residents!

Spread the love
