Generations Connect at Tribute’s Senior Prom

In 2022, Tribute began a heartwarming partnership with Collin College’s dual credit Celina High School CNA Program. As part of their clinical training, students visit Tribute to gain hands-on experience—and this collaboration has blossomed into something truly special.

That same year, instructor Jennifer Davies approached our own Tina DeFelice to ask if there was a service project her students could take on with our residents. Tina shared a meaningful idea: a senior prom where students and residents could dress up, dance, and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon together. Jennifer embraced the idea enthusiastically, and when she presented it to her students, they were just as excited. The result? A new tradition was born.

Since 2022, a new group of Celina High School CNA students has returned each year to host the Tribute Senior Prom. This cherished event took place most recently on April 12th and, as always, was filled with music, laughter, and heartfelt connection. Both residents and students eagerly look forward to it each spring—the smiles, dancing, and joy shared across generations are truly priceless.

We are so grateful for this special partnership and the meaningful memories it continues to create year after year.
