Hello, my name is Kelli Gruzins, and I am the Director of Fitness at Tribute Senior Living. Through our Tribute Fit Program, I help residents get and stay fit with custom exercise programs designed to benefit each resident’s fitness needs. I would be delighted to help you or your loved one do the same in our Tribute Fight Club program, helping to fight back against the aging and disease process for seniors!
I have been married to my incredible husband for 27 years and have two children. We also have seven dogs! I know it sounds like a lot, but they are all tiny and weigh under five pounds. We support our local rescue agencies!
I have worked in the health and fitness industry for more than 25 years. My background is in kinesiology, biomechanics, and nutrition. I am very passionate about making the most of every day through healthy choices. Combining fitness and nutrition helps your body decrease inflammation, increase energy levels, and keeps your mind and body strong and sharp!
My work in the health and wellness industry has been very diverse. I have worked with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, Dallas Stars, and Dallas Cowboys. I have trained top athletes, gymnasts, models, marathon runners, and teens/women in pageants. And I have taught various fitness classes, including yoga, kickboxing, cycling, water aerobics, senior fitness, Alzheimer’s and dementia training, stroke rehab, body, mind, and spirit strengthening, and more.
Several years ago, I felt called to take care of seniors. Every resident I have had the privilege to care for becomes like family to me. I am genuinely encouraged and inspired by Tribute residents and am thankful to do life with this community each day. My goal is to keep our residents moving and active and to uplift their spirit as well.
